Kerala State Lotteries Department was the first lottery department setup under a state Government in India. It was established in the year of 1967. The Lottery Department is run by the Director of State Lotteries and is assisted by an Additional Director and a Joint Director. Three Deputy Directors and four District lottery officers handles the Administrative work.
